About Project

ODCme is an online marketplace connecting hospitality businesses with on-demand gig workers for flexible part-time work. It streamlines the process of finding and hiring casual workers, enabling businesses to efficiently manage their work schedules.

Project Goal

Primary focus is to identify real-time issues in event management apps, and propose innovative features such as attendee tracking, event creation, publishing, and payment management to enhance the overall user experience in event management.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a UX UI Designer, I document client requirements, identify and address issues, and conduct research on competitor apps. I also gather user insights through interviews and surveys. My design process includes creating mood boards for aesthetic consistency, developing low-to-high fidelity wireframes, and working closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation. Finally, I present completed projects to clients, delivering applications that align with their needs.

Nowadays, users face challenges in creating events, making posts, and hiring workers directly through an application. The process is often cumbersome and lacks user-friendly features, making it difficult for users to manage these activities seamlessly.

Scheduling events can be problematic, with issues like double booking of venues and overlapping event times. Users need a solution that ensures efficient scheduling without conflicts.

Inefficient Booking and Registration Systems

Developing a reliable booking system that allows users to easily register, purchase tickets, and check-in at events remains a challenge. Users demand a smooth, straightforward process for these tasks.

Issues in Secure Payment Processing

Users often face difficulties with secure and efficient payment processing for event-related transactions. Ensuring the safety of financial information and a hassle-free transaction experience is crucial.

Lack of Comprehensive Event Analytics

Event organizers need detailed analytics on attendee demographics, check-ins, check-outs, and event completions. The lack of effective tools to gather and analyze this data makes it difficult to measure event success.

Our solution addresses key challenges in event management by providing a user-friendly application that streamlines event management with features like easy event creation, conflict-free scheduling, secure payments, and real-time analytics. With scalable architecture, the platform efficiently handles multiple events, providing a seamless experience for organizers and participants.

Users can easily create and post events within the application by providing the necessary details. They can review candidates who apply for these events and make approval or rejection decisions based on the candidates’ qualifications and experience.

Conflict-Free Event Scheduling

To address the challenge of scheduling events without conflicts, the application features an interactive calendar view. Users can see existing event slots that are color-coded, making it easy to differentiate availability and avoid scheduling conflicts.

Job Opportunities and Event Participation

Users can find job opportunities based on their roles and directly apply within the application. Upon confirming participation, they can download a ticket containing all relevant event information, including check-in time and other details.

Secure Payment Integration

A secure payment system has been integrated into the backend application, ensuring automatic credit of payments and other transactions to users’ accounts upon the completion of their event shifts.

Real-Time Event Analytics

When an event begins, a live card appears on the businessperson’s mobile application home screen, displaying real-time analytics. This includes the number of check-ins, checkouts, reported users, and the total remaining time for the shift.

Super Admin Controls and Vendor Management

The application allows the Super Admin to manage and modify vendors, monitor their activity, and oversee other resources, ensuring smooth operation.

High Performance with Multiple Events

The application is designed to handle over 50 events simultaneously, ensuring optimal performance and scalability without any issues.

A dedicated vendor and resource management system allows event organizers to efficiently coordinate vendors, suppliers, and other essential resources, ensuring smooth event operations.

Executive Intent

Developing an unique yet application catering to both business and end users. Business users will have the ability to create and efficiently manage events, while end users can easily apply to events matching their roles. The application will facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes, ensuring timely completion of events and prompt crediting of earnings to their accounts.
